Aileen Gonsalves (Jane)
Aileen trained at The Central School of Speech and Drama. Theatre credits include Nora in A Dolls House (Young Vic), Mishti in Skeleton (Soho Theatre), Cordelia in King Lear (Orange Tree). TV and film includes: Doctors, Babyfather, Such a Long Journey, I Love my Mum and Forty Days of Mourning. She is co-founder of C Company and has directed many of their productions.
Susan Bracken (Lizzy Bennet)
Theatre credits include Mrs Cheveley in An Ideal Husband (The Bridewell Theatre), Liz in From Both Hips and Elaine in Last of the Red Hot Lovers (both Old Red Lion Theatre), Susie in One Night Stand (Hen & Chickens Theatre), Ellen in Informed Consent (Actors Centre) and Maria in Twelfth Night(Broadway Theatre). She is co-founder of C Company.
Zak Rowlands (Mr Bingley, Harris Bigg-Wither and Mr Collins)
Zak was born in North Wales. Since leaving Rose Bruford College, he has appeared as Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest (Bridewell Theatre) and Alan in One Night Stand (Hen & Chickens Theatre). While at Drama School he appeared in productions including Festen, Peribanez, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Caucasian Chalk Circle and The Cherry Orchard.
Alex Trippier (Mr Darcy and Tom Lefroy)
Alex received his MA in Advanced Theatre Practice (performance) from Central School of Speech and Drama in 2005. Theatre includes Back at You (Lightwork Theatre, BAC) and Bill Sykes in Oliver (Jam Theatre). TV includes Hotel Babylon (BBC1) and Totally Frank (T4). Alex has written and directed four shorts An Exceptional Day, Sick, The Dose and The Bread Factory. He is currently writing a short film series for the web based company “Filmaka”.
Sheridan Brown (Mrs Austen and Alethea Bigg-Wither)
Theatre credits include Boo in Blue Window (Tristan Bates Theatre), Madame de Merteil in Dangerous Liaisons (Jermyn Street Theatre), Myra in The Devil’s Only Sleeping (Cockpit Theatre) to rave reviews, Emilia in Search for the Moor (Oval House) and Mrs Tilford in The Childrens Hour (Diorama). TV credits include The Bill (ITV) and Hollyoaks (Channel 4).
Jo Nuttall (Madame Lefroy, Lady Catherine de Bourgh and Cassandra Austen)
Jo trained at Manchester Met and graduated in 2001 when she headed down to London. Theatre credits include Brooke Daniels, Popcorn (Broadway), Bone Harvest (National Tour-Eastern Angles), Henna Night (Barons Court), The Censor (BAC). TV credits include Top Buzzer and AA-Outmaneuvered. She discovered Meisner at The Actors Centre and joined C Company Spring 2007. Jo also likes to sing!
When Jane falls in love with the perfect man, she finds in herself the perfect woman – meet Elizabeth Bennet. When her real-life romance sours, she sentences Elizabeth and herself to marriages of duty. Darcy may save Lizzy but only the author can save herself.
