Gala Night

We are holding a special gala night on Friday April 20^th 7.30pm. Tickets are �25. As well as including a ticket for the play you will be entitled to drinks and nibbles after the show and an opportunity to discuss informally what you have seen with the cast and creative team . This event will be held in the theatre and is on a strictly first come first served basis. Tickets are only available via this website (contact us to book) or from company members. We sincerely hope you will come to this one off event. Your support will be invaluable for the company’s future ongoing projects and is very much appreciated.

Aileen trained as an actor at Central. Directing credits include: Last of the Red Hot Lovers (Old Red Lion) Peribanez (Rose Bruford 3^rd year show), Lady Windermere’s Fan (Arts Ed), assistant director to Tim Supple on Midnight’s Children (RSC), assistant director to Greg Doran on All’s Well That Ends Well (RSC). Writing credits include readings at Soho Theatre and the Tristan Bates theatre. Radio and television writing includes Church Ladies, an afternoon play, for BBC Radio 4 and Tracey Beaker for CBBC.

Award-winning writer Simon Warne developed his skills at the Finborough Theatre and later at RADA. Plays include Mind the Gap, Double Effect (Finborough), Truth Talks (Southwark Playhouse), Original Spin (New End, Hampstead and Criterion) Wishful Thinking (winner of the London Writers’ Competition 2000) Damaged Good (Etcetera). Musicals include You’re the Top! A Musical Trubute to Cole Porter, The Two Hermiones (Electric Theatre, Guildford) Rasputin (Greenwich) What You Will (Royal Academy of Music workshop) and Stratford Street (Academy for New Musical Theatre workshop, Los Angeles). Radio:Temperatures Rising (Radio Four) and The News Huddlines (Radio Two). Television: Doctors.

Stage includes: Golden Opportunities (Warehouse Theatre), Othello (Rosemary Branch Theatre), Popcorn (Baron’s Court Theatre), Shakers Restirred (Landor Theatre), The Importance of Being Earnest and Macbeth (touring for Changeling Theatre Company). Lead film credits include international award winning thriller-short A Naked Eye and comedy-noir Expiry Date. As co-founder of the physical theatre company Conspirators of Pleasure, Fliss has devised and performed in their mime-based shows including On Reflection for HM The Queen at the Royal Albert Hall.

Susan trained at Gaiety School of Acting, Dublin, American Academy of Dramatic Art, New York and Act One Studios, Chicago. Previous theatre credits include Elaine in Last of the Red Hot Lovers (Old Red Lion Theatre), Karen from A Boy’s Life (The Betsey Trotwood), Maria in Twelfth Night (Broadway Theatre), Maggie in Engaged (Teatro Technis), Gwendolyn in The Importance of Being Earnest (Bank of Ireland Arts Centre, Dublin). American theatre credits include Darlene in Hurly Burly, Tracy in The Philadelphia Story and Regina in The Little Foxes. Susan is also a co-producer of One Night Stand.

Katie trained at the Central School of Speech & Drama. Previous theatre credits include Anya in Stocking Fillers (Old Red Lion Theatre, Islington), Mich in Heaven’s Above (Upstairs At The Gatehouse); Carol in Past Tense (Old Red Lion Theatre) and understudying all the female roles on the no. 1 tour of Richard Harris’s comedy Party Piece (Bill Kenwright Ltd) where she took over the leading role of Roma for the second half of the tour, opposite Matthew Cottle and George Cole.

Stephen trained at the Rambert School as a dancer. Theatre credits include the lead in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Bombay Dreams in the West End and Chino in West Side Story (tour). TV credits include Dream Team, Molly, Trouble in Tahiti, Swinger and Doctors (all for BBC). Currently he is filming Emmerdale and can be seen in the new Highlander movie. He is also an award winning choreographer, receiving the Peter Darrell Choreographer’s award for Renard (Scottish Ballet) and the MOBO award for the pop promo Devil’s Nightmare (Oxide and Nuetrino).

Zak Rowlands was born in North Wales. He headed for London where he trained at Rose Buford College. While at Drama School he appeared in productions including Festen, Peribanez, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Caucasian Chalk Circle and the Cherry Orchard.
