TRAINING PROPOSAL FOR PRESENTATION TRAINING
DAY ONE – 3 HOURS
Boost Presentation Skills
Through a series of breathing, relaxation and focusing exercises, we will help trainees become more comfortable in presentations by taking their attention off themselves and putting it on other people. In a fun, relaxed environment, they will learn valuable techniques and tips that they can use every day. How to:
– embrace enthusiasm not nerves
– control the voice
– relax breathing
– improve eye contact
– increase energy
Interaction Skills (within the team and between the team and the client)
Working in pairs, using Sanford Meisner’s Repetition exercises, we will focus on:
– observation skills
– ability to ‘read’ the other person
– active listening
– sharpening their responses
– permission to speak
– being present and alert in the moment
Working in pairs, using Sanford Meisner’s Knock at the Door exercises, we will work on:
– emotional preparations to energise and impassion
– status exercises to increase confidence and the power to speak
DAY TWO – 3 HOURS
Advanced Work
Working in groups, using advanced Repetition exercises, we will work on:
– Combining emotional preparations with repetition
– Jumping-in exercises (knowing how and when to get involved, being alert)
– Mock credential presentations – to explore giving and receiving critical feedback using the techniques we teach
– Final presentation – putting everything to the test
